How to Take Jinan Metro(with ticket purchase method attached)
Entrance

Buy Tickets
When taking the subway, passengers can use WeChat (or Alipay) boarding code, bus card, Quanchengtong, subway one-way ticket or electronic one-way ticket in Jinan Metro APP, two-dimensional code face recognition to get on the bus. Each station has a customer service center that provides passengers with inquiries about Quanchentong recharge and other services. There are self-service ticket vending devices in the station hall, which can be used to purchase one-way tickets or recharge for Quanchengtong.
Security Check
Before entering the gate, passengers are requested to actively undergo security checks and place their personal belongings on the security machine for security checks. Valuable items should be placed in a dedicated security box for inspection. If necessary, please cooperate with the subway security personnel to conduct an unboxing inspection.
Entrance Gate
Passengers check in at the entrance gate and enter with one ticket per person. One way tickets are valid on the same day at this station. Do not forcefully pass through before the door is opened.

One Way Ticket
- One way tickets can be purchased at self-service ticket machines or customer service centers at various stations.
- Payment method: WeChat, Alipay, bank card (UnionPay), cash.
Attention: Currently, most self-service ticket machines at stations no longer support cash payment. If you need to use cash, please go to the customer service center at your station.
Jinan Metro APP
1.Boarding code
After entering the homepage of the APP and clicking on the "ride code", a QR code will appear. Each time you enter or exit the station, you can scan it once, with one code for each person, and the fee will be deducted directly, which is convenient and fast. (If your phone has enabled NFC ride hailing function, please disable the NFC function on your phone to avoid duplicate charges)
2.Face Recognition Boarding
Enter the APP homepage and tap "Face Recognition." Enable the face recognition feature and register your facial data. When riding, simply scan your face to enter and exit stations. The APP automatically handles payment, making the process quick and convenient.
WeChat, Alipay Boarding Code
- Open the WeChat mini program: Search for "ride code" in WeChat, set your city to "Jinan City," then tap "Metro" to access the "Open Now" interface.
- Activate the service: Tap "Open" and accept the agreement. On the "Jinan Metro Confidential Payment" authorization page, choose your preferred payment method and complete the authorization process.
- Get your ride code: After authorization, tap "Activate" to access the ride code page, which will display your QR code.
- Use the ride code: When entering or exiting subway stations, open your WeChat ride code and hold it up to the scanner. Wait for the "scan successful" message before proceeding.
- Check your trip history: Access your user management page by tapping your profile picture on the "Jinan Metro Ride Code" page to view your ride history and related information.
By following the above steps, you can easily use WeChat ride codes to make payments on the Jinan subway.
Alipay
- Locate the city where Alipay APP is located as Jinan, and click "Travel" on the main page (or search "Jinan Metro Code" in the search bar on the home page);
- Select "Subway", click "Go to Claim" to enter the "Card Collection for Taking the Subway" interface, click "Agree to the Agreement" and claim the card, then follow the prompts on the page to claim the card;
- After successfully obtaining the card, click "Use Now" or open the Jinan Metro ride code interface before entering the station, align the ride code with the scanning port of the gate, and then swipe the code to board the train;
